General Construction Labourer

We are hiring General Construction Labourers to support our growing team on active job sites across Canada. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to enter the construction trades or build on existing experience. You will work alongside our skilled tradespeople and contribute to a variety of residential and commercial projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist carpenters, paving crews, electricians, and other tradespeople as directed

• Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment from trucks and storage areas

• Clean and prepare job sites before, during, and after construction activities

• Dig trenches, backfill excavations, and compact materials as required

• Operate basic hand and power tools under supervision

• Carry and position materials such as lumber, concrete blocks, and pipes

• Follow all occupational health and safety guidelines on site at all times

• Perform other general labour duties as assigned by the site supervisor

REQUIREMENTS

• No formal trade certification required — entry-level applicants are welcome

• Ability to perform physically demanding work in various weather conditions

• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the work shift

• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude

• Valid driver's licence is preferred

• WHMIS and Construction Health & Safety training is an asset

• Willingness to learn and grow within the company
