About La Red de Hispanos
La Red de Hispanos is a community for Spanish speakers in Canada. Raquel Narvajas, a project manager who moved from Spain in 2018, called its first meeting in Toronto in October 2022. It now has more than 2,500 members from across Latin America and Spain.
It runs social events and meetups in Spanish, networking and coaching sessions, a referral system to help members find work, and a directory of businesses and professionals it has verified. Members join through the Heylo app in three steps.
